Checks before you buy any DJI drone in India
Whoever you buy from, these checks protect you.
GST invoice
Ask for a proper GST invoice in your name with the drone's serial number on it.
Serial number
Match the serial number on the drone, the box and the invoice.
How it entered India
Since February 2022 India has prohibited importing complete foreign-made drones, with narrow exceptions. Ask the seller how the unit entered India; a drone that cannot be registered is a problem later.
Registration
Drones above 250 g need a UIN on Digital Sky. Many DJI Mini and Neo models are sold as nano (up to 250 g), but check your exact unit with its battery.
What is in the box
Drone only, Fly More Combo or Fly More Combo Plus: the combos add batteries, a charging hub and sometimes a screen remote, and change the price a lot.
After-sales
Ask who repairs it and where. At NVX the same team that sells the drone repairs it in Connaught Place.
