Drone prices in India range from a few thousand rupees for a toy to many lakhs for an enterprise or survey system. The ranges below are indicative only, based on typical market listings, and change with models, import rules and offers. Use them to set a budget, then compare actual quotes.
These are rough bands, not quotes. Always confirm the price, GST and what is included in the box.
Roughly INR 2,000 to 15,000. Good for learning, with short flight times and basic cameras.
Roughly INR 30,000 to 2.5 lakh for consumer and prosumer models with stabilised cameras.
Roughly INR 25,000 to 1.5 lakh for ready-to-fly kits or custom builds, including goggles and radio.
Typically several lakh rupees per drone, depending on tank size, batteries and spares supplied.
From several lakh to tens of lakhs once RTK, thermal or zoom payloads, software and training are added. Usually sold on quotation.
Two drones that look similar can differ a lot in cost. These are the main reasons.
Thermal sensors, optical zoom and laser rangefinders add significant cost.
Bigger batteries, efficient airframes and stronger links cost more.
RTK or PPK modules for centimetre-level mapping add to the bill.
Type certification, UIN support and documentation take time and money for makers.
Local repair, spares and operator training are part of the real price.
Professional work needs several battery sets; check how many are included.
Since 22 September 2025, GST on drones is a uniform 5%, down from the earlier 18% and 28% rates. Beyond the purchase price, budget for spare batteries and propellers, repairs, third-party insurance where required, pilot training and software subscriptions for mapping or analytics.
Titli, NVX's bionic butterfly drone, is priced at INR 50,000 including 5% GST. Saksham, NVX's Indian made enterprise drone with AI-powered operation, 15 km range, 55+ minute flight time, RTK and a wide-angle, telephoto and thermal camera with laser rangefinder, is sold on quotation because configuration, training and support vary by customer.
